Job apps & Grandmothers

On Friday I sent out the first application for my first big girl job! Hitting send was a very exciting, but also a little nerve-wracking! I am currently working on the second and third, which will both be submitted some time next week. Please send positive thoughts my way!

Then on Sunday my family had an 85th birthday brunch for my grandmother, Momma. What an amazing women! Momma is the mother of 5 children, the grandmother of 15 children, and the great grandmother of 1 baby. All of us have enjoyed spending summers at Momma's summer home at the beach, where she makes us feel like the most important people on the world, as we eat zucchini bread, sip iced tea, and discuss our lives. Momma is a fun loving woman, who makes me feel like the 85 year old when we are walking through the mall and I am unable to keep up! We have all been very blessed to have this woman in our lives, and I am glad that my family was able to come together to celebrate her life.
