Because of an overwhelming demand for advisors, I was asked to help out in the advising office on Thursday afternoons for the rest of the semester. Though, I have been enjoying having more time to work on my own research and classes, I have definitely missed working with the students. I hear all of my colleagues who are teaching talking about their lesson planning, and it does make me a bit jealous. Even if I know that I wouldn't have enough time to get it all done. I have missed working with the students to plan their courses and talk about graduate school plans. But, now I need to make up those hours by spending the night working on my midterm (last one ever!!!). Hopefully I will get a lot done since Mike will be out all night at pool.
